First Blog

Well hello there! For my very first blog, I have decided to present to you my favourite make-up and skin-care products. Basically I am like EVERY other girl. Make-up is my best friend. I may even have a slightly  unhealthy relationship with beauty and skin-care products. This will be my first beauty blog so keep the questions coming and I'll do my very best to answer them. Anyhoo, lets get straight to it...

My favourite:

-Moisturiser
My fav moisturiser would have to be 'Yes To Carrots hydrating body lotion with SPF 30'. This goes on straight after I take my make-up off at night and right before I apply my make-up in the morning. The whole brand is actually incredible. All of their products are made to evoke a positive response: YES to nourishing your skin with healthy and natural ingredients! Unlike other moisturisers that are packed with harmful chemicals that you (daily) expose your skin to, why not treat your skin with the care that it needs?

-Foundation
As for foundation, my fav brand would have to be Dream Satin Liquid foundation by Maybelline, priced at £7.99. For the slightly more expensive option, it would probably be Sheer Matte foundation by Nars, priced at £29.50. Both of these foundations almost glide onto your skin and provide flawless coverage. They last ALL day long, without fail, and as long as you keep touching up on the powder and blusher, then your make-up looks as if it has just been applied. I would recommend it to everyone.

-Powder
My fav powder is probably Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection powder, priced at £1.99. Or the more expensive option Mac's Mineralize Skinfish powder, priced at around £20. Both of these powders are amazing, despite the drastic range in price they are near enough of the same quality. But when funds are running low, I always choose the Lasting Perfection powder, because although its cheap- it's a blessing!

-Blusher/Bronzer
My fav blusher is without a doubt Nars blush in Orgasm. It gives your face the most beautiful ray of colour! The shade of pink suits literally every skin colour and it has that perfect balance of bright, yet toned pink. It is a little pricey but it's SO worth it. As for the cheaper alternative Accessorize Baked blusher in Pretty in Pink. And as for bronzer, it would be Accessorize's baked bronzer in Monaco! Both are priced at around £7.00 and are packaged very neatly and girly-looking.

-Mascara
My fav mascara is probably Bourjous Volumizing Mascara! It seriously makes your eyelashes pop. And its really dark so it gives your eyes a very dramatic look; its perfect for a glam-eyes look. Another of my favourites, is L'OrealNew Volume Million Lashes in Extra Black. It seperates every single one of your lashes and makes your eyes look very open and bright.

-Lipgloss
My fav lipgloss is absolutely Maybelline Lip Gloss Color Sensational in Coral Blush. It looks sooo pretty. It's perfect for a glam-look or even a casual look. It matches every occasion and it looks so shiny and glossy in dim light and pictures!

Come on people, bring your comments forward: any questions you may have, whether it be make-up related or environmentally related- please ask. I would love to help however I can! Maybe even suggest ideas for my next blog? I would LOVE to dedicate a few of my upcoming blogs. Sending you all positive energy and thoughts. Thanks SO much for reading, it really means a lot:)

Sincerely yours,

Sophie :) xo
